so let get this straight...
in order to fit a glass window top to 00-01 s2k's, you have to modify the frame? Or is it a direct bolt on. If modification is required, what exactly do you have to modify? thanks

Thanks to a couple local guys on the forum, I recently got my plastic top upgraded to an E-Z On HV denim glass top.
It's basically a minor modification. If you order the top made specifically for the MY00 and MY01 (I believe Robbins also has one specifically for MY00 and MY 01), you get two extra straps, rivets and instructions in a separate bag. The straps attach to the fourth and last bow that sits in front of the glass window when the top is up, to the car's frame below. If you don't attach these straps, the fourth bow slids forward, making the glass window sag. When you attach them properly, they pull back on the fourth bow as you put the top up, keeping the bow where it should be - directly in front of the top of the glass window. This way, the glass doesn't sag and is held up.
I know that's a detailed explanation, so hope it all makes sense. And by the way, upgrading to a glass top makes the car look so much cleaner!
