I relocated the plate to the grill area, fastened on with zip ties. I doubt it impedes the air flow any more than an aftermarket grill.

It is also illegal here in Connecticut, but I rather take the chance.

You guys with the screw holes showing should get the little plastic protectors about $5.00 from honda dealer, or free if they are cool like EGHonda. THey'll keep you from rusting out.

Plateless for nearly a year now. No problems yet. I got pulled over once in my FD (RX7) and got a warning for no front plate. Prior to that I got a 'no front plate' ticket in the FD... but it was instead of a '70 in a 50' so i was thankful my dad just last month got a 'no front plate' ticket in his M3 instead of a '85 in a 55' so we are convinced it's worth the risk.
Not to mention, cars looks 10 times better with out it! Especially the S2000! Not to mention, cleaning the front is easier too.

Not so anymore, now that everyone has the new fade-blue plates, it is a $50 or $60 ticket for no front plate So stupid, and so ugly.

Actually, it's the back plate you don't want them to see. Cause if you were from MI and visiting CA you wouldn't have a front plate (thank goodness).

What did you guys do about the screw holes? If I took mine off, there'd be two huge holes.

Scroll up to dark crow's post. There are little factory tabs that cover the holes. They are $5.00 at your dealer and are color matched to the car.
