The tsb's are in the library link up the top under the link bulletins.
Actually - that is not the TSB I was referring to. I have a copy the correct one, but need a moderator to post it in the library. Can anyone help?

Let me understand.....

I have an 03. Are you saying the top shouldn't be visible at all when its down? Mine sticks up above the height of the trunk area. I haven't tried to put the boot on though.

Can somebdy post a pic of what a properly adjusted top looks like when its in the "down" position?

I did the adjustment to the top mechanism so it now sits lower when in the down position. The tabs on the boot no longer pop loose. But the top doesn't sit so low that it's flush with the trunk. The edges still stick up a little thus the boot is still required to give it a "finish" look. I second the request for any pics showing the top completely flush with the trunk. I thought I had adjusted the top mechanism to retract as much as possible.

JMAN...this is what I do...Make sure the boot is tucked in around the weather striping and then I stand behind the car, push down on the boot and pull it towards me. I find this helps lock the tabs into place.
