Soft top fading? What can you do?

what I've found works best is to keep the top down, unless it is in the garage

mine looks brand new!

a lot of dirt and for us garage queens dust builds up on the top. I have used a shop vac and it looks like new again..... try it can't hurt

Excellent point...the shop vac. I read another post in the wax & wash forum that pointed out that dust & grit that works its way into the vinyl weave can break down that same mesh over time what with raising/lowering/folding the top. Using the shop vac should prove to be an excellent way to remove that grit. Thanks!

Try AutoFanatics and look for a WOLFSTEINS RAGGOPP Protectant for protection. It is easy to use, make the top repel water very well, and has a high UV protection rating. They may have other products to restore color. They have a web page for convertible top maintenance.

Use a vinyl cleaner/protectant with UV protection in it.
