Hello Everybody

I'll be picking up an 01 S2k Formula Red in about 48 hours or so - very excited. Just wanted to know everyone's opinion on the $18.7k price tag. It has 30k miles on it, with no record of accidents. Only modification was a pair of exhaust tips.

Also, please enlighten me on issues of 01 S2Ks (i.e. defects, and the like)? There were discussions on clutch issues and ragtop defects. Are there any other kinks I should look for?

From what I can see, the only visible flaws are chips on the front bumper and bald tires. The top also seems to be fading with an almost foggy looking plexiglass. Will this be covered under warranty?

I have a set of 18" RH C2 evos 215/40/18 with a +45 offset. Anybody know if these will fit?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
