I loved my Spa while I had it. I can't think of anything to add other than what everyone else has already said; you'll stick out a lot so make sure you're comfortable with that. I'm also not a fan of the Spa hard top--it's a little too yellow--so if you're thinking of a HT, look at pictures first.

Also, Spa is notoriously difficult to paint match, so be extra careful if you find a used one with a replaced panel.

I've got a Rio and I love it. It is a darker yellow with some pear in it, I like it so much better than a lot of other yellows out there (on other cars). I have my windows tinted so it also looks sweet with the black top and black tinted windows. I have never had a problem with cops (then again and don't drive like a maniac). Another good point for yellow is that pollen blends right in, so during pollen season the car still looks clean. On the down side it seems to attract bees and other bugs when it is parked. This car has been my DD for a year and a half and I will never get tired of the color.

Love my SPA, but I may be prejudiced. All of my Hondas have been yellow. SPA is not quite bright enough for me. If I had a choice I would have painted it Fly Yellow or Sunfire Yellow.

I almost bought a spa but was not sure on the color either. In the end I don't regret not buying it and going for a more "plain" color as I have driven this car for 3 years and never ONCE been pulled over by the cops. My previous Honda was an Electron Blue Prelude and I got pulled over all the time and didn't drive any different...I'm convinced it was the bright color that attracted the attention. If you drive like a grandma or like police get a flashy color!

I was a big time yellow hater up until my friend bought an 01' Spa. I loved the look of the car, especially up close, and I loved driving it. Rio is even better! It's not at the top of my list (had an 03' NFR <3 and now a BB <3), but I'd take it over either of the silvers. IMO, silver is boring and undeserving of the S2000.

Anyone who doesn't own a silver car downs the color. It's clean, classy and refined color for a sport car. It screams sophistication instead of "boy racer"

If I totaled my car tomorrow, I probably wouldn't get another yellow. Not because I dislike the color, more because I've owned my car for over 8 years and would maybe like to try something different. Sadly, my car is a mix between Spa and Rio as it's been to several different body shop several different times. Paint matching the yellow sucks . It sure does get a lot of looks, stares and points.
