I got my recall letter today. I really hate having to go to sit in the dealership for 2+ hours.

Is this for all S2000? If you go to the owner link page shouldn't tell you there?

sweetj - check your vin. If your 2002 s2k is >#6983 then your car came with the new plugs from the factory. If it is below that number, you'll be getting a letter.

thanks fed for posting the notice...
i still have not got one-
pretty funny:
"product update campaign"!!!
i think randy had it right- call it something other than a recall to keep the stats looking better!

I got mine today as well...

I hope they won't give me any sh*t for having an aftermarket intake installed. Anyone think this will be a problem? And if I bring in my own spark plugs (iridium), will they install them, or do I have to get the Honda plugs installed first?

did they really take that long? 2+ working hours to replace the gaskets and the plugs?

Last night when I got home, sure enough there was the letter from Honda.
My dealership in rural Upstate New York is still waiting on the sparkplug kit to make the change with.
I was able to tell the dealer of the TSB (well at the time it was) before they knew about it thanks to this great forum.

Now if we could just get AHM to come clean on the European recall for the oil bolt...
