Default Speaker install question

I want to install two more speakers in my stook. I am assuming that since the head unit has a fade control in addition to a balance control, it must have outputs for four speakers. I am not a guru at audio installs. Can someone out there with knowledge of the head unit tell me if indeed there are four outputs and where on the unit they are located on the unit. Any advice on accessing the unit without using a sawsall on the dash would also be welcome .

While McGyver might show the wiring.. The subtlety in this question is where the wiring ends.

The head-unit does indeed have the outputs you need.

The problem is that the wiring harness that connects to the head unit has no wires to these pins. That means that for you to tap into these 'speaker outs', you will have to install pins, with wires soldered on, into the honda harness plug.

Exactly which pins are which channel is easy to figure out with a Voltmeter.

Good luck.

coolness, I started a trend... Its a bugger to get the stock radio to work for the rear speakers. I highly recommend getting a new head unit, with the right setup you wont need an amp. Check the electronics forum for more in-depth topics on this! Let me know if i can help in any way.

Also keep in mind that the MUTE button will not mute the rear speakers. Only the front! This is reason enough not to use them in my opinon. Just buy a 4 channel amp.
