--speeeeding--i have to plead ignorance on the issue of cutting with the 6.5s, but i do not remember this being an issue, my installer had many other issues to deal with.

from what i hear you can't go wrong with asking pinky/lucid.

I've got the infiniti 6.1 perfects component set in mine. I didn't have to do any cutting. If you aren't going to replace the HU (which I recommend), you definitely need to make sure you amplify your speakers properly.
