Silver S2K

I remember seeing some posts recently complaining of premature battery death in a few S2K's. Didn't think much of it till the other week when I bought a new car. When the dealer was pulling it off the showroom floor and prepping it, he assured me that he would put a new battery in for me. He said that sitting on the showroom floor, people fiddled w/the electronics and it went a while between starts. This would lead to premature battery failure down the road.

So, for those of you w/dead stook batteries, did your car spend a fair amount of time on the showroom floor? Perhaps w/people playing w/the top etc? Just a possible explanation other than the battery sucks.
