Spoiler?
I have the factory front and rear spoilers on my stook. It took the technicians about 3 hours to install both. Sorry that I can't be more specific but call it an hour to install the rear as the front was reportedly more difficult. By the way, the side strakes are apparently the most difficult by far as they involve some serious drilling in the car (so says the salesman if you can believe that).
I like the look of the rear spoiler. It's just big enough to give some panache to the back but not so big as to be obnozious. Just my 2 cents.
Finally, I think MSRP is a fair price. I paid $32,700 for mine with the front and rear spoilers installed. However, I suggest you try and go lower. It's my understanding that the market has softened a bit since I bought mine and you might be able to get the car for a little less.

The market certainly hasn't softened here in Dallas. All local (within 30 miles) dealers want $2k over MSRP. Frank Kent Honda (recommended by users on this board) were willing to do the deal at MSRP, and had a red stook, just rolled off the truck, with 8 miles and the plastic still on. I put the deposit down yesterday =)
I bet that if I really wanted to haggle and drive farther, I could find something for $500-$1000 off MSRP, but I agree that MSRP is a fair price and I don't feel the extra effort is worth it at this point, having found a great dealer already that I'm happy to work with.
Thanks again for everyone's help. I'll be sure to post pictures and impressions at 10 miles, and then again at 1000 =) (I drove my friend's black stook with 5k miles on it two days ago. Simply couldn't help from yelling out "WHEEEEEEEEE!!" while accelerating to redline to 3rd gear on the highway off ramp. Man what a rush =)
One other last little bit: the insurance rates on this car are really great. I was looking at an E46 M3 and the insurance for me (24, no tickets/accidents) is above $300 a month for comp/coll. On the stook, I can get full coverage for less than half of that. Not sure why, but that is why I'm getting the stook now (and then maybe switching to the M3 in 1-2 years or so when I'm past the magic 25 year old point - we'll see =)

it recently got my for msrp. They were going to sell me the front lip, side, and spoiler for $485 each installed. I pass, because I did not want to finance so much. However I got them to thrown in a car cover and a second shift knob.
I got my car for MSRP & the Spoiler for MSRP ($485 installed) as well. . .
I suggest that you NEGOTIATE with the dealer. . . specifically, ask why they are selling the OEM spoiler for $400 more than Honda's MSRP for the product (installation isn't more than 1 hour of labor). . .
If he's unwilling to negotiate, remind him that you'd like to have your car serviced where you buy it & you think they would value a potential customer over a couple hundred dollars. . .
If that doesn't work, shop around for the spoiler at other dealers. . .
IMO, the spoiler ADDS a lot to the look of the car (seems naked without one). . . However, DON'T spend more than MSRP for it. . .
Good Luck

i got mine for msrp but i didnt add the so called "body kit and spoiler" if you are gonna do any aftermarket like a spolier or body kit dont go with hondas..........you can put the money that you would spend on absolutly nothing on somethign can definatly make your stook stand out. i think that hondas spoiler doesnt even look like a spoiler........it looks like the trunk is just shaped funny..definatly do aftermarket....you can get something better for around the same price
