Thanks AJ PwR, that's all I was looking for...!

And again, big congrats go to Spoon and anyone associated with the recent win. In a race, that's really all that matters!

Any idea how much the car weighs after all of the work done to it?

Thanks AJ Pwr thats just what I was looking for! Interesting that they use higher spring rates up front, must be trying to reduce oversteer. Ive never seen another S2k run higher rates up front.. Do you know what size tires they are running? That would be useful info too..
Im assuming they are running a LOT of camber to get those low offset wheels to tuck into the wheel wells, but from what I can tell the S2k tracks well with a lot of camber.

Also does anyone happen to have some good pics of the cage? I would really like to see that.

Thanks Again
Mike

I'm very curious about the engine modification limitations alluded to. There were cars in this race that had to have had major modifications. There was a CRX that was faster than half of the 50 car field. There was a Mustang that was extremely fast (passed a couple of 911's on one of the straights). In short, there were many cars that were much, much faster than stock.

I don't see how the improvements in performance from stock that I witnessed were due merely to exhaust, weight reduction etc.

Please don't misunderstand, I'm not calling B.S., I just want to know what I'm missing in the equation.

If one wanted to get a hold of some titanium nuts and bolts, how would they go about it?

It's kinda too hardcore for street use man. And u can't notice much difference with it on the street.

Nice avatar btw, the IMPACT BLUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Woodson: Well I guess the S2k is just right for this tight track? I guess u all know the AP1 is a very balanced car? It's just amazing how SPOON improved it with their setup. Also I think Ichi san got more track skills on different kinda tracks in Japan and Europe that's why he did it faster?
