I was thinking about getting one of these. Anyone hear think of making there own? Isnt it just a tubing directing air to the intake.
I have the Ings+1 Kit which has a opening, and was thinking about making one out of either: fiberglass, plastic moldings, etc which ever is best.
Your thoughts/suggestion?

There is a post running around the forums that I tried and seems to be working really well. I modified the stock air box and put in a K&N, installed an AUT cooling plate then used a peice of sheet metal ( painted black of course ) to divert some of the air at the grill into the AUT scoop!

It really did help having the snorkle intake down here in the sunny south. One thing I would suggest is to line the inside of the air box with 2 layers of insulating foil. Once I did that it really made a big differance.
