It is amazing what a search will come up with. There was the same topic a few weeks ago and none mentioned this fix. Dealers have been replacing master cylinders.
I had this problem, too. I took mine to the dealer and they lubed the clutch fork. It went away for about 6 months and now I'm starting to notice that it's coming back.
I greased the counter balancing spring, but the squeak is still there. I guess it is the release fork on the slave. I don't have jack stands, so it will have to wait.
Crap, just replaced my master and slave cylinders and the damn sticky and squeak is still there >< .... Im guessing they would have greased the spring too? where do i go from here
My squeak was from the clutch release fork (as others have also posted). However the clutch pedal (not the actual clutch) tended to stick/grab a bit at the point where it squeaked.
