If you did not ask to see the indication on the radar unit first hand it was your mistake. I have gotten 9 radar tickets since 1982 and not one has stuck. See if you can find a copy of "The Ticket Book" written many years ago by a disgruntled California Highway Patrol officer. While I no longer have the book it's lessons continue to keep me out of trouble.....even today with Laser technology. "Sorry officer Dan you failed to make a calibration entry during the required observation period" . Oops sorry officer Dan you heard the audio alert on your system and then looked at me in the rear view mirror...two mistakes here 1) you were already biased when you made your visual indication of speed and 2) You looked at me in your rear view mirror. Anyone who hasn't seen this book should look and look hard!
