Stalling problems.
This happened to me this morning. It didn't quite stall, but came close. I put the clutch back in and it settled down to a 1500 rpm idle. As long as it settles down after a couple of minutes I won't be upset.
I have had the same problems on cold mornings. This was posted once before, and if you follow skipx's steps 2 & 3, you shouldn't stall out any more. Ever since I have started mine that way on cold mornings, I haven't had any problems.
I've had these problems when the temperature suddenly changes. If you let it stall and try again, it should start fine and continue to start with no problem until the next time there's a large swing in temps (usually 1-4 times per year here in upstate NY). It seems the ECU needs to acclimate itself to the new ambient temperatures. If this happens EVERY time, it sounds like you should 1) try the other suggestions here and 2) if still no resolution, have the dealer check it.
Thanks everyone! I also did a search and found out a lot of people have this problem. Seems to be very common, maybe Honda should do something about this. I'm just afraid that it might get worse in the future.
