Stering wheel H badge
Check out my horn button- I'm pretty sure it's the only shaved OEM S2000 horn button in existence. (And it wasn't easy!)

The horn button can NOT be properly removed from the airbag and replaced.
You need to replace the entire airbag (it takes less than 5 minutes).
Hopefully, you can get it done under warranty, because the airbag is big bucks. (That ding was always there, right?)
You may be better off to cover it with an aftermarket badge, or modify it yourself.

Same dent on my 04 steering wheel emblem....grrr
I had no idea it was a soft emblem... I dented while I was tapping the horn with my knuckle(saying 'Hi' to other S2000 passing by)
I guess warranty is out of question...let's pray for 04 Ricks S badge to come out...

Tapping the horn button with your knuckle should be considered "normal usage."
I mean, it wasn't like you hit it with a hammer, or dented it loading cargo. You were actually using the horn for it's intended purpose.
The fact that more than one owner is having the same issue, may illustrate that the horn button is not up to snuff- thus, it could (and sounds like it should) be a warranty issue.

You could get one of Rick's "S" badges. They come in several color combos. There are pics on his site, but they look better in person. They come with a rubber washer that fits around the indentation outside the H badge, and the "S" covers that whole area. Really sharp looking, like the car should have come with it in the first place.
