Stock Clutch Question

I think it was concrete. Plus with the extra weight in the trunk I know I had a lot of traction.

As far as the clutch being toast per the other poster, I'm sure it looks like hell right now, but it still works just fine, I don't notice anything different about it. Did it lose some life? For sure, but it only has 1900 miles on it and a few seconds of high RPM slip, I think it is far from done.

As far as the TSB's are concerned, I wasn't awair that the TSB for clutches was for the 2002. Didn't it have something to do with rattling in the 2000/2001 models? Of course, it would be great if I were wrong, I'll take a free clutch any day.

I think it is the heat. Try to do that in the morning and it will have an easier time. I noticed that when I am stuck in traffic, it takes a bit more revs to hook up the clutch from a granny start even.
