If you haven't finished paying off your S2000, now is the time. If you have other debt, finish paying that off.
If no debt, dump the do' into an IRA.

If you're absolutely bent on spending it for the car, driving school and helmet is all that's needed. If it becomes habitual, you will need a dedicated set of wheels and tires (OEM wheels with race tires). You'll also need some money to change out your oil and brake fluid. Maybe brake pads/brake lines later down the road.
If you're not going to do any of the above, a hardtop would be a very nice start. Car is perfect as is.
I've done all the above and used to track until the missus put an end to that. Hence the Mugen-itis (causes your wallet to vomit profusely and hard to get rid of, like herpes).
