Default Stock speaker question

How many stock speaker does the S2K have? Location? I adjust my fader and put it to rear and no sound you can hear. Is there a speaker attach to the rear?

Not trying to be an ass, but I'm very sure that the manual covers the rear speakers, the "secret"compartment and the fact that the "weenie wheel" spare should not be put on the rear wheels.

Have you tried adjusting your fader? The rear fader doesn't work. The four speaker is only hook up to the front fader. We can you use the rear speaker connection from the stock head unit, if available, to add a sub.

Anyone out there put tweeters on (or in) their dash to lift the sound to a higher plain? I have a problem since I am so tall that on long trips my left leg covers the left speaker. I get a virbrato effect anytime I move my leg. Anyone else with this problem and a way to fix it (other than changing sitting position)?

As mentioned, the MY02 has separate tweeters along the top of the door panel, but they are pointed straight across toward the opposite door, as opposed to the top of the opposite seat. Tweeters are very directional and if they don't point at your ear, you lose alot of hi end. One solution is to get steerable tweeters, like I have in my Infiniti 625's. I have the opposite speaker adjusted to aim up and back. Seems to help with clarity. You can also buy steerable tweeter separates that can replace the stock '02 tweeters.
I think mounting tweeters on the front posts or in the dash would really help, but the crossover would have to be mounted close to the head unit, rather than in the door.
