I did read that TSB-054 does not apply to the new ap2s but I swear I have the same problem. Seems like its a common problem and isn't anything to be worried about. I agree that after doing some maintenance type of work, especially greasing the inner shift knob's core, it does help clear it up. I did read that a bigger and/or different clutch disk may fix the problem as well but there is really no need because the problem is just the rattling and doesn't affect the performance of the car (in other words, nothing wrong, except for the annoying sound). Please correct me if I'm wrong but that is just my impression based on my experience and research.
