I have a MY '00 with 35k miles, the AC works better than any car I've ever owned. It's been in the 90's here for probably a month, so I have been using it every day. If the top and windows are up, the entire car cools off very fast, like within a couple minutes. Even with the top down it does a pretty good job of cooling me off if I'm sitting in traffic waiting on a light.

Oh crap!!! I have the fog problem too. I was about to take it into the dealer to have em fix it. Is it something that they can fix? I hate seeing this fog crap blow out and freak out passengers.

Have you guys read my last reply? You CAN'T fix what is a natural occurence.
But go to the dealer anyway. They're probably due for a good laugh.

I've never seen such a phenoneom occur in other cars though. Why the S2K only then???

Maybe the humidity wasn't quite right in those other cars when you used the A/C in those. It's like when you walk into a meat locker. How do you stop yourself from making your breath visible?
Other than this, I really don't know. Perhaps it has something to do with the type of heat exchanger this car has and the size and shape of the airbox compartments and channels. I suppose it could even be that you've got mould or mildew growing in there that supplements the humidity. Does it smell funny? Bad? If it does, then an A/C cleaning/disinfecting might be in order. If not, I doubt there is anything that can be "fixed".

AC systems will "fog" from the vents in high humidity climates regardless of the make and model.

Unless you want the dealer to suspend the laws of physics in your car, there isn't anything they can do to "fix' it.

Aside from the squeaks and hi-pitched farting noises it makes, the A/C in the S2000 is one of the strongest I've seen. Probably due to the very small passenger area. Lots of heat and lots of cooling. In fact, it works well keeping the legs and crotch area cool in 90+ degree weather with the top down. Can't have swamp ass on those long, hot drives.

I have MY01 with 30,000 miles and the a/c feels very weak. It also blows a fog out of the vents which has a humid water smell to it. Not sure how to make it cooler. And a lot of people posted that their car also gives off a fog out of the vents when a/c/ is on. Any help/suggestions?
mines just opposite. freezing fog comes out in my car.
i mean not all the time, at first i thought it was some sorta of dangerous fume
comming from the car. but figured it was freezing fog.....

If you place the blower on high and then hit the recirculate button you'd better hold on tight.. It takes off.

Yup, the recirculate button is the secret to freezing goodness.
