Strut Tower Brace...useless or worth it?
Does any one with Vortech S/C run the spoon STB? Will it clear all the plumbing? I am curious if I will have to sell mine when we do the S/C install. I hope not as it looks great and works well.
I wouldn't be without my Whiteline STB and Lower Brace. I removed them from my car to test out some swaybars recently and couldn't wait to have them re-installed. Once I removed the swaybars and temporarily took the car back to stock configuration it (the car) felt 'loose' and less responsive in comparison. I know some owners won't like hearing this but I can say unequivocably that there is room for improvement in the S2000 as far as handling and stability goes.

) is that when I installed my Cusco, I noticed that the cable you speak of was forced into a slight angle/"pinch" at the bracket on the driver's side. Only reason I associate it with the speedo cable is that when I was initially setting my cruise control with the STB installed I'd notice a "pop" when I'd apply the brake or clutch (which would disengage the cruise control). Given the timing of the install with my hearing the "pop", my assumption is that the "pinch" [was] placing some pressure on the cable assembly. Over time (for good or bad
, that "pop" has dissipated). Here's my Cusco. BTW, I have Muz's Whitelightning lower "X" brace as well. I really appreciate the added stability offered from both of these items.
It's the cruise control cable. That black unit it goes into is the cruise control.

John, I'll let airgate answer for himself, but I believe I'm correct in assessing that the "one long wire" that you speak of is in some way part of the speedo cable.
