Strut Tower Brace...useless or worth it?
ok i put my spoon sports stb on and hit my fav twisties and could tell a little diff. of course not the whole world of a diff but i could tell a little something was diff. it felt a little more stable through high speed turns and on the really sharp hair pin turns. i would recomend this brace for sure now just to get my x-brace!

I like comptech the best it look and seems like it would be the best
Comptech

SPOON
Ganador - Another strong STB

IF you look at like the Whiteline one... Its a bar that then tapers and then attaches at a single point... Then to ring that then attach to the ST..
Whiteline

RM

But this is just my opinion...
my spoon stb fit perfect over my aem cai with no problem no touching no rubbing. i've been running it for three days now i took it off to check the cai to see if they ever touched. nothing no one mark. so in my case yes spoon fits over aem.
It makes no difference if the bar is the exact same identical width from end to end because it's lateral strength that is required. I could build a STB that looks like the Sydney Harbour Bridge and be the strongest STB in the world but to what end? My point being that when it comes to fabricating these components there is no need for over-engineering.
A certain degree of lateral rigidity is required for a STB to function as intended and I sincerely doubt you would be able to feel the difference in performance between any of the bars shown above when fitted (particularly on the S2000).
At the end of the day it all comes down to price, appearance, ease of fitting and adjustment and whether the bar fits without impeding other engine components (such as a CAI).
Also.. the Whiteline and RM Racing braces look to be the only adjustable braces out of those shown.
Same thing goes for lower braces.
