I had a pair of Muai Jims I found, and loved them. They got pretty beat up though, (working construction).

I went to replace them, but could not find a pair that fit my face well. I have an ugly nose with a high bridge, and most glasses sit up too high on my face.

Ended up buying a pair of polorized RayBans which i use for driving, and I love. Also got a pair of Oakleys to wear socially and what not. Love them both. I will def not be buying anything other then Muayi Jim's, RayBans, or Oakleys in the future.

Sunglasses that hug your face tight are best for top down and motorcycle driving. Aviators and other open sunglasses allow wind to blow into your eyes which will irritate them after a while. Also open sunglasses do not block the sun rays that come in from the sides...which is why you have sun glaring off the INSIDE of your sunglasses.

This is the style of sunglasses I wear for motorcycle and S2000 driving. They block all wind and allow no sunlight in no matter the angle:

This is the style that sucks for actually blocking sunlight and wind...they just look "cool" (or to make some guys look even more like douchebags)

I also have a big ugly nose. Luckily there are girls in my wife's office whose job it is to help people find glasses that look good on their faces. Main thing is to not get one that has those extra bridge pads, you need the ones that are just molded.

Go to an optometrist office, they usually carry nice sunglasses and the girls that work there can help you find ones that look good on you. They can also help you fit them properly to make sure they're comfortable. You pay a little more usually, but it's worth it to have pro service.

My Maui Jims come into the car with me every time, without fail - they never do either.

You would like WileyX's. I love 'em for "work" but they are just too dorky for me to wear in public.

I've always just bought cheap $5-$20 sunglasses, because I have terrible luck with them breaking / getting lost / etc. I've heard that if you buy nicer ones, you often take care of them better, but I still have spent less on sunglasses in all my life than one really "nice" pair.

Regardless, sunglasses are definitely a prerequisite to driving a convertible. It's not just for style; it's for safety!
