Does anyone know what the 0-60 would be on a Turbocharged or Supercharged S2000? I've read about the Turbocharged S2K in Import Tuner, they mention getting the car above 400HP in their next upgrade - but they don't mention what that really means on the street, they don't say what the 0-60 is. Comptech's site says 340HP with their supercharger - but how fast would my S2K be? Would turbo put is in the range of a viper or Z06, or would it only gain us 3-4 tenths of a second?

I think it would depend on other factors, mainly traction, and if you had the traction, then the need for a good clutch.

Just a guess but I would say high 12s low 13s with the supercharger. Seeing how the car is RWD, I was thinking that it would be pretty cool to see an S2K with enough power doing a wheelie. Did anybody ever see Eddie Bello's Porsche? He use to do wheelies in 1st and 2nd gear down the track.

The first time I ever saw Eddies porsche, he drove in on street tires, went through tech inspection, Probably changed the tires, then proceeded to lay down consistant 9.50s all day yank the front wheels every time!! His best run was

9.53 @ 157

That was amazing, plus he is not stuck up, he welcomed me to talk to him and answer my general questions that he was asked a million times before. What a true race sportsman!

Yeah, Eddie's really cool. I got to talk to him when he was at Paisley Automotive one time. He's suppose to be crazy though. The stories I hear about him tearing about the West Side Highway in NY are pretty amazing. Tell you the truth all those guys are pretty cool. I know Craig pretty well and he introduced me to Abel Ibarra who is so skinny in person it's no wonder his car goes so fast there is no added driver weight.

Sheez, it'd wanna be better than 12-13. I get 5-6 stock

It's all just speculation but when you're talking about a car that does 0-60Mph (approx. 0-100Kph) in the low fives, you're talking the thin end of the wedge. Properly setup I'd guess a serious turbo system would do low 4's. I'd expect the CompTech mild SC setup would put you in the high 4's.

Remember here, that both Turbo's and this centrifugal SC give progressive boost and do little for the bottom end. The 0 in 0-60 pretty much means the low end (unless you have little respect for clutches and tyres).

I think the 60-120Kph improvement would be far more impressive.
