No 1/4 mile times. I was actually trying my first 1/4 mile when the hesitation showed up for it's 2nd time (then it stayed around). Right away in 1st gear I knew something wasn't right. I turned a 15.81, nice huh!?

Update:
Shad from Comptech told me there was no need to have any further tests done by the installer, they were aware of what was causing the problem, but needed to create a fix. I can name one fix, Mugan ECU.

Great ride Wesmaster! I will have to drop by sometime when I visit the family, they live in the Woodlands and in Conroe.

Keep us posted on the hesitation problems...

Good luck and keep up the great work.

Comptech hasn't contacted me with a fix yet, but the SC has been running fine lately - haulin'. Which means more victims <grin>. I try to play "nicely" but it just doesn't work.

I haven't done any stand-still launches since last weekend, I wonder if that has allowed the MAP sensor adapter to recover and reset. I still need a "fix" I don't want the lag showing up at an unopportune (sp?) time.

I still have people asking me if it's a Porsche, and all of us I love saying, "No, it's a Honda." I love even more the next statement, "340 horsepower".

Autocross is the 18th, we'll see if a SC helps out any on the course. Before I bought the SC my thoughts were that it might help a little, having more torque at lower (and higher) RPMs; but I won't know until the 18th. After driving the car with the SC I definitely think it will help, sliding through turns with pumpin' ponies will be fun.

Wesmaster,

I actually have a Mugen ECU but have never used it. When I actually drive the car and eventually get it dyno tested I was going to try the stock and Mugen ECUs. If I get any hesitation I will swap ECUs and see if that fixes it.

My hesitation for using the Mugen is that it removes all engine safeties that would be nice protection for the supercharged engine. Plus Comptech will not warranty the kit/engine failure if you use the Mugen (because they have never tested with it). Which is quite understandable...

Yeah Shaner, I did the same research it appears you did before I bought the SC. I found that Comptech didn't recommend the Mugen ECU, only because they couldn't vouch for it.

I recently thought to myself, "I know one way to get rid of the hesitation, Mugen ECU." But I agree, mixing the two SC and Mugen ECU may be a bad combo.

If I could manage the settings on the Mugen ECU, then turning off any boost retarding and leaving everything else stock would be nice - but not for the $1,000+ the ECU costs. Comptech's MAP sensor adapter does this via a mechanical method, the adapter keeps the boost from going into the sensor and therefore being read - so accomplishing this via the ECU doesn't sound like it's any worse.
