The hesitation is constant now. When I punch it it doesn't go anywhere, then it starts to go somewhere and it's running at about stock power (or less). I tried many different speeds, dropping to 2nd gear from 40 MPH, dropping to 3rd from 70 MPH, dropping to 4th at 80 MPH. Each was very dissapointing in power, and response.

Here is a picture of my map sensor and adapter, you tell me which one I have.

After reading a current post about "carbon" shooting out of the exhaust I checked out my exhaust, there seems to be a black deposit formed in the center area of the bottom of the exhaust tip on each side. I clean my tips often, and I don't ever remember cleaning something like this off before.

Mike's comments are not too comforting. I inquired about the way my driving might have to change with the SC via email before I purchased, I mentioned 6K-8K RPM launches, someone who reads the info@comptechusa.com email responded with:

"...you will drive the car (if you want to go fast) the same way you do now."

Evidently this information has been found to possibly be detrimental? I think I could live with not launching at 7,000 RPMs if it's going to pretty much ruin my ride. I'm just hoping we can fix this hesitation soon.

AusS2000, We currently have one company in Australia as a dealer but they are only buying NSX parts.

Wesmaster, Have you spoke with our technician Shad to help diagnose the problem your car is having?

Wesmaster,

That's the newly updated MAP sensor valved adapter... sorry I can't comment on the hesitation but my car is not drivable: no wheels. Plus, I would NEVER subject my baby to the salt and >24" of snow of upstate NY (that's what the new Focus is for )

RT, We had been allowing Shad a couple hours sleep each week, but I'll see if we can snag him during that time to work on it for you.

AusS2000, contact Palmer Promotions at 61-1-1873-1975

You sure on that number Mike?

Doesn't look like an AUS number except for the 61 bit.

I did a search on Palmer Promotions in all states and couldn't find anything. What state are they in?
