Is anyone unhappy with the performance of their Supercharger? Is there anyone who thinks it is not worth the extra money(approx. $4k) for the added power? I would really like to get one but only if there is big noticeable difference in power.

BTW, I have done extensive research on this site so don't flame me for starting another supercharger thread.

 

If you've read all of the recent Vortech threads, surely you saw there was a substantial increase in power from most of the dynos. Most think that the mod is worth every penny, because with a little more tuning and a smaller pulley, one can have more boost. But then again, I've seen a few people who(after installing the SC) weren't too impressed.

What I'd suggest is to get a ride or maybe even drive another owner's Supercharged S and see if you think it's worth it.

 

I am very happy with my Comptech unit. The only thing I would suggest is that if you can get a ride (or drive) in both a Supercharged and Turbo'd car, that would help you make the most informed decision. They make power differently and you may prefer one over the other.
