I don't believe anyone has said you would retain your "factory" warranty. I said you would have "some sort" of warranty that was an arrangement between that dealer and Comptech.
Sorry, i misread that. But when you say "some sort" of warranty is retained, can you clarify on that a little more? I'm considering getting a SC in the future, but it really depends on what kind of warranty coverage i will keep with the vehicle.

I think you need to have all the particulars laid out by the dealer you are planning on getting the Comptech from. It is with them that you must resolve any claims that might arise and I'm sure that each dealer will have a different interpretation of what is and is not covered depending upon the circumstances at hand.

I've had warrantee work done by my honda dealer. It's been in the shop several times for electircal issues, cel, and SRS problem. I have a vortech sc. I installed my SC.

I have had no problems. Nothing I have done has caused any of the problems which needed to fixed.

However, if you were to be concerned with the "what-if's", and you are going to install an comptech sc, or if you do not drill out a hole in the vortech and use a similar oil drain as in the competc kit, you will not have any problems here's why.

Lets say you blow your engine. take out the supercharger and return it to stock. If you have electronics, hook them up using a PNP from frog. They cannot prove you did anytyhing to your car to void warantee.

It's broken. And they have to fix it.
