I meant spring alone.

If you're absolutely certain about not getting coilover systems in the future, I suggest either stay with stock springs or get KG/MM springs, along with Koni shocks. Making the front bar stiffer also helps to reduce oversteer.

Have you considered upgrading your tires? They make a big difference.

Don't know what I'd upgrade too. I'm already kind of unhappy with the wear on stock s02's. I'd like to keep at least a minimum of wet handling. My car is daily driven, so getting some miles and some reasonable all weather handling is important to me.

The front bar alone works wonders. As a stock class autocrosser, I have not looked into much more than shocks to go with the front bar. It's hard to improve the rubber on this car, you're basically going to lose a ton of grip with other street tires that fit the stock wheels. You'll have better rain performace though

Do you have an area on the car where you specifically find fault? I don't want to be one of those "Mod the driver first" types, and I don't know your skill level, but the average enthusiast (note, I didn't say driver) still cannot effectively exploit the stock limits of the car.

Have fun anyway - I'm not really trying to disuade you.

I won't question at all that I could use some practice with my skill set. But I don't see why I can't make some educated changes along the way as well.
