Default Suspension question.

I feel that my car is out of line, so thinking to gonna get a linement tomorrow.
I'm running 18" wheels, and still on stock suspension. Anyone knows what settings I should put on my car? Leave them stock or is there a setting I can put so I can go in corners a little better but still streetable.
In about 2-3 months i'm planning to go with Tein Flex, so then I have to do another alinement when I lower it.

Thx in advance.

Ricardo

Oh....you must mean an alignment I would keep the stock settings. Unless you plan on tracking your car, increasing the negative camber will just wear out your tires.

The harder you drive your car, the more the tires will roll to a degree. By increasing the negative camber, you get the maximum contact patch when driven hard.

OEM spec is good on the street for this car

hehe yeah I meant an alingment
well i think i'm gonna play with the settings, cause here we don't have a track but we have the streets and the streets here are not very goood because its to flat, uhmm like back in the US i feel more grip on the street and here I don't. So think I should just play around with it

i see you drive a 2000 model. have them change it to 02/03 specs for improved handling.

Try the EURO Spec alignment. I switched to it about a year ago and like it alot. Better turn-in and it holds the rear end better at the limit.

....and it is Honda approved settings.

Those are good specs, but expect to replace the tires sooner.

You know.....I thought that too. However I still got 20k+ out of my rear tires, and 40k+ with the fronts. Now mind you, I use a pretty hard compound tire (Toyo Proxes 4) at a 300 treadwear number compared to the 140 of the S02. I can't run as hard in the canyons but I do just fine - ask Arnee and others in the SD crew.

There was inside tire wear, but not enough to force replacement any earlier then usual. The benefits certainly outweighed the wear (non) issue.

I have 11,500 miles on my original OEM S-02 tires. The rears are as smooth as a baby's bottom. The fronts have a little bit of tread in the middle and are nearly worn all the way through on the inside.

Next up, another set of OEM S-02's
