Swapping CV CUPs
Hey guys,
Dropped the car about 2 months ago and had the shakes ever since. I read the DIY on swapping the cv cupss and just wanted to get a bit more info if possible since I plan to do this with a friend tomorrow.
1. Is a ball joing remover necessary? In the DIY it stated to use one but reading through the post I saw some members not use it. The less the better.
2. In the DIY he took out the whole axle. Also read this was not necesary. How would you go about then removing the cups without taking out the axle?
3. Similar question as # 2, if a ball joint remover is not necessary, is there anything special I need to do to take the cup out? Anything to look for.
