Default switching to synthetic oil

Got an 02 Suzuka Blue "S" last July. It's stored for the winter and has 3300k on it. When is a good time to switch to synthetic? I've heard different opinions. I was just going to use Mobil 1 10-30. I used 10-30 AMSOil in my old RX7 Turbo II. Any opinions on what is best or any general info about the "S"? I hope to put it back on the road in a couple of weeks.

Looking back I would go to Synthetic at 10 000miles and don't use Amsoil in the that stage since AMSOIL doens't contain moly. Go with Mobil 1 10w 30 SuperSyn. It has decent moly, which should help break the car in even more.

I switched to Amsoil at around 6500 miles. Second change I went with Castrol 10W-30. Now I am at almost 10,000 miles and have never burned a drop to date.

I plan on switching over to Mobile 1 at 32,000 miles.
