not after sitting for that long, you just need one, either fuel or spark it wont start w/o both.

A race car friend of mine says push the car out of the garage in 5th gear. This should allow a few revolutions. Seems better than nothing and easy to do. What do you guys think?

I'm contemplating on bringing out my baby at the end of March but the way the weather has been it might be pushed back until mid-April

Me too. I am waiting to get it out of storage mode in April and then I can start throwing the mods I have on it.

I need to get two more things: The J's N1 ECU and Koni yellows. Oh and a new set of rims and tires. And a front lip and a rear spoiler. Never mind, the list keeps growing

Good luck pushing the car in gear, even 6th gear. Besides, that does the same thing as pulling the fuel pump fuse and cranking the engine.

Although this will help, it will take more than a few engine revolutions to pressurize everything. Consider that it takes about 2 to 3 seconds to get pressure when starting a car that's been sitting for a while. That's because the engine galleries (and likely the oil filter) have drained empty. at 2000 RPM, that's around 75 revolutions without oil pressure. Cranking it without firing prevents the fast engine revolutions without oil pressure, minimizing the wear from "thin film" lubrication conditions.

You could take your oil pressure switch off and (with something like a turkey baster) squirt warm oil into this port. Since this switch is located after the filter, it this will likely fill some of the galleries as well as the filter. You would get oil puressure much faster.

The downside of this suggestion is that the oil gets injected into your engine unfiltered, and if the oil isn't really clean, you can do more harm than good. Also, you should drain a little oil from your engine to prevent it from being overfilled (or store the car a quart low in the first place).

If you're really worried----you could also pull all 4 spark plugs and hit the starter and let it turn over a few times--it'll spin easliy without the compression the plugs create and circulate oil quickly.
(I'm just gonna start mine and let it run at idle for a few minutes)

Since the gas has aged, Techron fuel additive would be a good idea too.
