- so as many of you know, im trying to sell my car to get an s2000
- I FINALLY found an s2000 at a local dealer (maybe can trade my IS300 in, rather than private sale)
- I test drove it and wasn't impressed, it just didn't "FEEL" fast ... FEEL = torque?
- also, the clutch felt STIFF as a muthafuccka... is this normal?
- im on the EDGE of either trading my shit in within' the next few days OR turbo'ing my IS... I dunno what to do
- I think im going to go back and test drive it again... maybe push it some more... brb...

- edit: just came back from part II, I think imma lock it down tomorrow so I can put my car back to stock to trade in

- ps: no flames please...

Which dealer did you test drive at? I'm from south San Diego........I've been to every dealership within a 150 mile radius. Was it the 04 model or a used one?

You know I did the same thing with a 93 VTEC Prelude! Drove one brand hammer New and was not impressed. But several years later drove one that had 23,000 miles instead of the 67of the first car and holy smokes could not believe the difference.
It seems Vtec cars when not broken in are somewhat weak !
My Civic did the same thing ! When it hit 15,000 miles my mileage went up 2 to 3 mpg and it revved a lot harder.
Have driven 02 S that had 14,900 miles and it was a lot stronger than mine is at the moment with only 1600 miles so far! Trust me to get the whole picture make sure you drive a used one that is broken in . Owners here report it getting stonger all the way up to 10,000 miles!

Personal preference is your own decision. No one else can decide for you if it is worth it. I'm glad you made up your mind.

I like my S2000.

"also, the clutch felt STIFF as a muthafuccka... is this normal?"

There is definitely something wrong with that car. The S2000 has one of the lightest clutches I have ever seen.

If you find the S2000's clutch stiff, then there should be a waiver of rights signed before you test drive an SVT Cobra.
