Test n Tune! Need opinion
For an 01 S2000 w/ f20c
Intake, Exhaust, header, and a test pipe.
It will be going in a magazine for a test n tune for an s2k. I just need to gather what makes the most power, and then we can see what we can work out and go from there. This setup is what I'm thinking, so PLEASE feel free to help out.
Intake: aem v2/K&N FKIM or whatever its called
header: dc sports
testpipe: ARC/
Exhaust: I have an Apex n1, but we might use the magnaflow Ti, or something else
also a VAFC-II with tuning, along with a Hondata intake gasket.
All opinions welcome, I have tried searching but comes back error. No spoon or mugen or amuse, anything really big like that, hard to get japanese companies to advertise or work something out etc

AEM is fine, but i think it'd be interesting to see some of the non-norm companies to see if they can actually compete and/or make power.
if i were going to throw all of that on my car for a magazine, i'd use:
-intake: K+N or Comptech
-header: def. not DC, it won't make any power. try Comptech, because i doubt Toda would be willing to play unless it's a BIG magazine.
-testpipe: you could have a shop fab up something for probably $75-100.
-exhaust: Magnaflow would be a good choice i think, i don't think many people on here have really used it.
-tune: VAFC is another good choice if you ask me, not hard to install, easily obtainable, cheap when compared to AEM EMS.
-misc: hondata gasket is another good option. as well as maybe some light suspension work.
a simple bolt-on S2000 for a magazine is long over due.
good luck.

I agree that your intake is fine. I haven't heard anything good about that particular header, though.
What about the new T1R exhausts? Aren't they a domestic company? I think they have a header, too. You could get the full 70mm race system.
The VAFC will be fine for basic tuning.
