Almost every bolt holding the heat shield together was completely rusted when I took mine off. Probbaly added an extra 30 minutes to my install. I had to pry the deformed nuts out of the socket for 4 of them. Frustration...

I'm not exactly mechanically inclined but the install was super easy. I had a buddy pull my exhaust backwards from the rear so I could easily slip the test pipe in over the header cone.

And now my bumper is dirty with soot

Yes, but better to use something like Liquid Wrench. WD40 is volatile and flammable and evaporates fairly quickly. It needs a lot or it disappears before it penetrates. Don't use WD40 on a hot exhaust system. Whatever you do, do NOT use any sort of silicone spray.

lol so home dpeot just got rich........ Just bought an adjustable crescent wrench goes up to 26mm, I thinkj I need 22mm. a whole combination wrench set from 10-18mm, then also a new socket with 12, 14, and 17mm bolts.. WD40 also.

I have lot sof tools alrerayd its just...they get lost in the small garage somewhgere
