Is there anything wrong with the choice of red?

I'll downplay any color-related questions. I picked my color because I like it. Others can read whatever they want into it. Psychoanalysis based on car color choice is of limited value, if any...

Insurance co didn't ask for color either.
The color is not encoded into the VIN.
Monte Carlo Blue is a sexy color. I like it more because it's very rare (never offered in North America for the S2000) and a local member/friend painted his car MCB. It's beautiful.

i tried hard to make sure i didnt get hung up on a specific color during my search for an s2000. i wanted to make sure that i choose based only on mechanicals and price. i did end up with a new formula red... and it is growing on me. i am a pretty low profile guy and i am not used to driving a car anybody looks twice at, but it is an absolutely sexy color that fits the character of the car well.
I used to have a San Marino Red Honda Prelude and I loved the color. I got the same reaction when I told people, but others who saw the car loved the color.
It does stand out and attracts attention though, but that could just be me being paranoid.
I don't know if the rumor that the color of the car affects insurance rates, but for some reason I'm paying LESS insurance for a Silverstone S2000 than my red Prelude that was older and with higher miles. But at the same time I just graduated college and work full time so that status change may have lowered my rates.

red wasnt my first choice as i had a red e36 bmw and managed to get more tickets than my grey accord... granted its an e36 vs accord but still.
Now, im glad i got a red, as I mostly see silver or suzuka around me.
and yeah red does seem to make it seem more exotic, plus it looks even better with the red hardtop
and HiPER, where did you get that honda body kit from? ive been trying to find one for a while now. haha

Don't get me wrong, but I love cars in only black, white, or silver. The S2000 is one of the few cars that actually looks sexy in yellow and red. I think you'll be getting more 'damn, nice viper' comments. Red gives it that more...exotic look.
Red or Yellow two best choices in this country, and outside of the US, Imola Orange!
