Is there anything wrong with the choice of red?
I am colorblind. I can't appreciate red like you do. Yet, I ended up with an NFR S.
Again, being colorblind, I don't have much preference when it comes to colors. But I must admit that the metallic gray color emphasizes the lines of the car, making it look more aggressive and sexy. To me, these "character lines" are not that emphasized on solid colors, like yellow, black or red. My wife, she's not color blind by the way, agrees with me...
People love the color of the car, and comment on it, and I go with them... wish I saw the NFR like they did. I am not complaining though.

I think NFR is a safety feature for this car since this car is small and low. You don't see too many NFR threads involving trucks running them off the road, cars merging into them, getting hit in parking lots...ect.
There have been many times in a parking lot when I don't see even my S because it is hiding behind a car or bush so I have a idea that having a steath color would make it even harder to see.

What I don't understand is why every NSX out there is red, but you have to look hard to find a red S.
I'm happy that I picked red. I agonized over it for a month and then went with what my gut instinct was telling me all along.

You bought a used S2000. Color should have been WAY down the list of things you were looking for. New car buyers can have the dealer get them a new car, essentially equal to all the others, in any color they want. However, when you buy used, cars are never essentially equal to all the others, so putting color high on the list is, IMHO, foolish.
