Is there anything wrong with the choice of red?

I am looking to buy a new 07 or slightly used 06 or 07. I have noticed that there are more red s2ks out there, within my search criteria, then anything and dealers are begging for them to be taken away.
what prices are you being offered? just curious...

I love bright colors on sport's cars. It just makes me smile. Before I got my S I saw a bunch of different colors all together at an autocross. While all looked pretty good, the red one drew my eye the most. I knew what to get after that day.

I used to think that red sports cars are a cop magnet as well. But i've had my s2k for a year and a half and not even been pulled over once. Insurance companies aren't allowed to charge more for policy's based on color of vehicle.

I really wasn't interested in a red s2k when I was shopping, but something about it just seemed perfect. FWIW, I originally wanted either a berlina or suzuka

bah, I don't feel the red on the S. I've seen a couple at various times of the day (i.e.: different lighting), and I'm sorry, it's not my cup of tea.

But that's okay, that's why they decided on other colours so more people will like them.

My Sebring has an all red interior! Everyone who has seen it in person thinks the red is perfect compliment with silver. I do agree that the NFR is a perfect color for the S

BB was my first choice, then ss, then gpw, Last color choices for an S would be nfr, suzuka blue, and yellow. But honestly S2000s look good in ANY color, i did not want red, then i saw it in person and drove it and well...i got it : )
still would rather have BB but NFR looks great!!!

only things that really sucks is that it stands out even more and cops love to chase down those red cars grrr

My S is my first car that is not Red, I did not like the look of the S in Red, it just looked "not right"

I ended with common every day Silverstone.

You know what ? its just a color, enjoy your Red S and don't worry about everyone else, I never did with all my other cars.
