I'll be following whatever the instructions from AEM tell me to do. If they do not recommend or even mention cutting out the fake brake duct, I will not.

 

I think I saved the AEM instructions. If can find them, I'll see if they say anything about the fake duct, but I don't recall anything.

 

Someone posted dyno plots of both the AEM and Injen intakes and both of them showed impressive gains throughout the power band.

As far as I can tell this provides the most accurate scientific evidence yet. They did a base run then swapped out the intakes and dynoed again.

Seems to me that both of these intakes are well worth the money and far better bang for the buck than any other mod. Am I missing something here? Did someone prove these to be falsified dynos or something?

 

im trying to install one right now... can someone clarify where all the hoses go please! especially the one that comes from the bottom of the engine area and the little sensor thing that has 2 hose fittings. need help asap!!
