In Upstate NY, I used to store the S for 5 months every year due to snow, ice, road salt etc. Moved to OR last year and still stored the S due to too much rain and bad weather from December onwards (till March maybe). I dont enjoy driving the S in rain and slick conditions. Also, unknown places, I take the beater as I am paranoid of the softtop being slashed.

I drive mine 50/50. It just depends on what I feel like driving. Luckily, my beater is fun to drive as well, albeit in a different way. Though it doesn't have a radio, which blows.

My beater is a 400whp turbo gti vr6. I'd still rather take my near-stock ap2.

Mine's sitting in a warm garage right now, and has been for a few months.. I really miss it. hehe.

On most rainy crappy days, I take the Maxima. It's just more comfortable and more practical when the weather is crappy.

Bought several anti-theft devices. But now don't park it were it's at risk very often. Beater is a '93 Ford Ranger. Color? White, of course. Hey, it's the California Central Valley.... gotta fit in.

I could NOT live anyplace where I couldn't drive the S 12 months out of the year. Even in Honolulu it rains too much to enjoy the S some days, I would so move to Phoenix except for work and family. My DD is a Pilot, functional but oh so bland driving, like eating tofu.
