tsb 054&055 done twice
decel noise from 4k-2k
broken frame stud
diff bearing cap blew
foam door liner on passenger side roof peeling back
wierd mark on passenger SRS dash cover (seen on other cars too)
intermittent driver's side window control failure

me and Lucy get along great. My human body has been in the shop quite a few times, can't expect a manmade machine to be perfect either. overall i'm extremely happy with my car.

Anyone from either model year NOT have problems?

Have some of you had to have the same things repaired multiple times?
Are you worried about when the warrenty is up?

Purchased 4 November 2001

4 November 2001 delivered with defective roof lowering making it nearly impossible to use boot cover. Will be fixed next week. Roof lowered properly for first time in May. Before that, I never realized my roof lowering was defective.. Roof lowers properly now if I push on roof as it lowers..
4 January 2001 developed #4 cylinder problem. Fixed by 26 January.
31 March 2001 hardtop installed. Has wind noise in driver's window at speeds over 45 mph. I have not had this worked on yet as this isn't hardtop season.
1 August 2001 developed line of bubbles/dimples across rear plastic window. Will be fixed next week.

3040 miles on odometer now. Transmission is perfect. Engine is perfect. Car is amazing, but more trouble-prone than any other Honda I've had. Heck, none of the others ever had a problem with their roof retracting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Repair costs and maintenance costs since purchase. $0.00 except for gasoline and a quart of oil.

March 00: Purchased Car

Jan 01: Immobilizer Unit & Transponder went. Replaced under warrenty. ( FYI - Put key in ignition, turn key press start button, nothing happens, takes me a while to realize that the immobilizer light does not stop blinking. Honda dealer flatbedded my car to the dealership and had it back in my hands and trouble free in 1 day, no cost to me. )

Feb 01: Seatbelt recall - into the dealership in the morning, picked it up by close of business.

Sept 01: I've scheduled to have TSB 54&55 done. I've had 5-6 1-2 grinds since I bought the car. I'm mainly putting in for the free clutch work, since I've abused my clucth and is showing signs of going.

My experieance with my dealship's service dept has been 1st rate. No compaints here.
