BTW : Good choice with FedEx ... a little easier to ship and better customer service IMO

I have to admit that ALL of the packages I receive via UPS are dropped at my house. Even when I am home and watching the delivery guy from the window.

I track the packages online so know when to be home...I even know the UPS guy comes between 4-6pm so it makes it easier.

Sometimes if I am lucky he will ring the doorbell...othertimes packages will just be left. This has always been my experience with UPS...they NEVER ask for a signature.

If I go online to the tracking information and look to see who signed for the items, it is listed as G. ARAGE or D. OOR or P. ORCH

Personally I think it is a ridiculous way to condict business...there is nothing stopping the drivers stealing the packages or indeed any passer by taking something from your front step.
