Tinting the front windshield and other ?'s

Brought my car in to a local tint shop to find out about window tinting since it appears to be getting sunny here in Northern Cal. Here

Not worth the loss of Radar detection imho, regardless of all other benifits, unless of course you cut-out a square for the radar unit, but that would be ugly...
