tires for rain?
There has been a lot of discussion about replacement tires and for the preference of staying stock. I drive in Florida as a daily driver where normally there is a lot of rain (though not lately). Also usually do not worry about cold. I do not race other cars nor use track type driving. I do, however use vtec often on ramps, etc. I have noticed a slide when streets are wet. Are there any performance tires which are sticky on dry as well as good grippers for wet driving? Prior to this car I never knew much dif. about tires and simply went with what my local Goodyear dealer recommended, such as Aquatreads but of course, with this car I need every edge I can get. Any advice?
Thanks for your quick responses. Will changing to these tires adversly compare to the stock tires? Also what about the Australian suit and Honda's rcommending staying with stock? Any merit? I would like a more rain forgiving tire. Lots of the stories on this forum involve spins on wet streets. Has anyone put the aforementioned tires on their S2000?
