I see some very cold temps in the spring and fall, just before and just after winter storage. During these cold freezing days if it is clear outside my top is also down.

The only thing I have yet to figure out is WHY people are staring at me. I'm not sure if it is because of the top being down, or because of my hat.

And the best thing is, I don't care, my ears are warm...

i spent all evening in manhattan with the top down. i even drove all the way home topless. the clear crisp night with the top down and 6-9k rpm's in midtown cant be beat!! with the heat on full blast, my right hand and my passengers feet began to get *too* hot!

btw, it was about 40F in the city and 35F around my house.

convertibles arent only for the summer!!

Hehe, I was driving around last night with the top down, windows up and heat on and I had about 4 people tell me it was cold out... I just responded that's why the windows are up

I mean it's not like we're driving around in Sebring convertables or something...

Next time someone says something to you just tell them you can't see out the back if the top is up

My '01 top NEVER lowered properly until it was about five months old. Of course, I bought it in November, so it had to get to May to be warm enough to make the material more flexible.

Since my dealer had limited S2000 experience back then, they and I couldn't figure out how to get the leather top's cover on and off properly. Now that I know how far down the top should go, I get the cover on and off in a sec.

I store my car in the garage with a car cover. Right now, I've got it stored with the top down and I'll take it out on beautiful winter days like today.

in the manual it says not to lower the top if its <40 degrees F. even if its 45 degrees, the top won't go down all the way. you have to lower/raise it 2 times to get it working correctly. but when the weather is warmer, i never have this problem.

The "convertible" setting on our heater works quite well. With a leather jacket on and the heater on (It blows on your feet, your Left hand at the steering wheel and your right hand on the shifter) I'm happy as a clam in temps down to the 30's as long as it's sunny outside.

btw....if you want a degree symbol, press alt then 2 4 8 and you get....
