Forget the shampoo, that is not what I was referring to. I have no doubt that the shampoo is not harmful in any way. It is way to mild to damage anything.

Hmm... The general consensus last year was that this product would be fine.

Seems to me that "Use only on polyacrylic/polyester tops." means it works on plastic/vinyl and our PVC tops are a form of plastic/vinyl. Lots of people have used it with no ill affects. I saw an S2000 at a meet that had a top that looked blacker and repelled water better than the others and when I asked the owner said he had used the Porsche treatment on it. I would not worry about it.
