Replacing top on my 00. Oem top replacement runs 1101. My cost through friend at honda is 734. However, on ebay topsonline.com has the same top with glass window for 450.00. Which way should I go. The aftermarket top comes with the kit to modify for the glass window in the back and also has a five year warranty. Please help as need to order new top by this Tuesday.


The shop will put either top on for 800.00. So just need your help deciding pros and cons

do you think honda will replace for free? would like to not have the expense and also do you think they would use the glass window so this does not happen again?

honda will not replace it for free. period.

it is also rated as a 9 hour job by honda so it is a bit pricey.

I think they will put a plastic window top back in for you but don't quote me on it.

 

Honda damaged my rear window. They did not replace it with glass, they had a new plastic piece put in.
